There is a new policy regarding sexual assault and violence in the works at Northern College. It’s one of 24 colleges across the province that met in Toronto last week to discuss the new framework. The presidents of the colleges met with government officials and the Ontario Women’s Directorate for feedback. President of Northern College, Fred Gibbons, says the new policy will ensure there’s immediate and effective help for victims of sexual assault.
