Snowfall warning in effect for our region

Remember how beautiful Easter weekend was?  If you were hoping it would be a repeat this weekend, you’re out of luck.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Cochrane, Iroquois Falls and Timmins.  Today’s rain will change into snow by this evening, and keep falling until early Saturday afternoon.  It will be windy overnight, too, so the snow will be blown around as it falls.

The warning says we can expect up to 20 centimetres of new snow to fall.

Nature is indeed fickle this time of year.
