Residents of Northern Ontario pay some of the highest prices for gas in the province. NDP MPPs are asking the provincial government to stop price gouging at the pumps. Despite the falling prices over the past few days those of us in the north still pay the highest prices. The NDP’s France Gelinas and Michael Mantha are calling on the government to do the right thing and take a hard look at gas prices especially in the unpredictability and unfair regional gas prices. Currently gas pricing in the north is ranging from $0.997 to $1.049 a litre while prices in the Toronto area are anywhere from 81 to 85 cents a litre.
