A five-person race was narrowed down to Pat Britton. Britton will unofficially take the seat with 511 votes.
Monday night’s results saw Betty Lou Purdon with 435 votes, Michael Shea at 380, Jim Brown with 360 ballots and Roger Hardy with 219 votes.
The MyCochraneNow.Com newsroom has reached out to town hall to get in touch with Britton, but has not heard back.
