Nominations are still open for this fall’s municipal election.
Right now there are three people looking to get one of the six open councillor spots including:
- Dean Breathat
- Claude Bourassa
- Frank Sisco
There are a few people who have put their names on the ballot for school board trustees including:
- Dennis Draves – English Public Trustee
- Clara McKinnon – French Public Trustee
Denis Clement is the only person vying for mayor as of right now.
The nomination period closes on July 27th and you will be hitting the ballot boxes on October 22nd. You can find information on the nomination process and a running list of nominees by clicking here.
