Porcupine Health Unit will be turning March into nutrition month with the focus being put on the potential of your food.

Public Health Dietitian Joelle Zorzetto says the PHU is following a five-step process to unlocking your food’s potential.

Zorzetto says eating the right foods in the right amounts will be a major focal point, such as nutritious snacks in the proper portions are healthy and energizing for the body.

She says the unit also wants to impress a focus on eating healthy to heal the body, such as eating healthier to help reduce heart conditions and cancer.

Zorzetto also says eating healthy will improve your lifestyle, and making the choice to find more time to eat meals with friends and family will also help.
