All day long on Thursday the Cochrane and surrounding areas will be able to do their part to help keep Scouts Canada alive and well.
The fundraiser is part of a national plan from Vista Radio Ltd. to raise $1 million dollars in one day for local charities across Canada.
Thursday starting at 6:00am is the annual MooseFM Radiothon, and this year the radiothon will be sponsoring Scouts Canada.
For twelve hours MooseFM will open up the phone lines asking for generous donations from the local community in order to help keep the great work of Scouts Canada alive and well.
Scouts Canada has been a major contributor to the community, helping to prepare kids for the great outdoors for decades.
Through a donation Thursday you can play a part in keeping the scouts well equipped to continue their necessary work within the community.
