The beer stores in Cochrane and Iroquois Falls are helping the MICS Health Care Foundation this summer.
Foundation coordinator Katie Brown says it lasts until August 28th.
“When you go in to make a purchase or to bring your empty bottles back,” she explains, “you can choose to donate to the hospital within your community.”
The idea is that you can donate whatever amount you want to — maybe even the refund you get for your empties.

“Everybody has the option to make, but we strongly encourage anybody who visits the beer store to help Lady Minto Hospital and Anson General Hospital in mind,” Browne adds.
The money will go towards medical equipment and advancements at the hospitals.
