The creepy clown phenomenon has made its way to Northern Ontario. Several people have reported seeing clowns around Timmins but none yet in Cochrane or Iroquois Falls. Timmins Police Constable Rick Lemieux says it’s not a funny prank and it can be dangerous. Lemieux says the greatest danger is to the clowns themselves, given social media posts threatening to do injury to any clown who jumps the poster. Lemieux says if you see a creepy clown out in public, don‘t approach him and call the police.
