From high school sweethearts jamming on their guitars in Iroquois Falls to the top 40 of the Canadian country music chart. That sums up Sabrina and Dave Sauvé’s trajectory as musicians.
Their latest single, “Leavin’ Town” is number 40 this week for the married duo who call themselves Rosewood Avenue.
They say it’s a dream.
“It’s been a whirlwind, too. We’re sometimes looking for the words, too,” says Sabrina.
“The song kept climbing,” Dave adds. “I still don’t really have the words for it.”
They’re sharing the celebration of that milestone with their family.
“It’s really a win for all of us because it’s been a journey,” Sabrina remarks.
We’ve been on this road doing music professionally for about six years now, Dave observes, “and it’s been a beautiful journey and we owe a lot of it to our parents and our family.”
Popping a bottle of champagne was part of the family festivities.
