Business awards nomination deadline is Monday

The nomination deadline for the third annual Cochrane Board of Trade business awards is days away.  It’s this coming Monday, March 23rd.

President Dan Brunet says there are nine awards including business of the year and lifetime achievement – which he considers the highlight.

“It’s always nice to recognize somebody in the community who has done very well and grown within the community and helping the community,” he remarks. “It’s quite the prestigious award.”

You don’t have to be a Board of Trade member to nominate someone.  You can do that on its Facebook page.

The winners will be honoured at a business awards gala on Saturday, May 23rd at the Commando Pavilion.

“We look forward to seeing everybody join us,” says Brunet. It’s always a good, sold-out event. It’s been a success for our community to promote our local entrepreneurs.”
