All the pieces are finally in place for Rock on the River July 24th and 25th in Timmins, with confirmation of the line-up for country night on the Saturday.
The headliner is Russell Dickerson. Opening acts are Makinna Givens from Haileybury, Nate Haller and Jade Eagleson.
Timmins Festival and Events Committee chair John Olaveson says this is huge.
“If you look at those artists and to see where they’re playing around Ontario this summer – actually, in Canada – it’s unreal, they’re playing all over the place,” he points out. “Very popular artists, very contemporary. We’re very pleased to have this calibre of artists for our tenth anniversary.”

“This is going to be a real hot ticket. VIP for the Friday night sold out in a couple days. I’m anticipating similar with country. Get them early.”
