Community Cares Radiothon next Friday

Next Friday between 6:00am and 6:00pm, we hand over the airwaves of Moose FM to the annual Community Cares Radiothon.

MICs group of health services foundation coordinator Brady Bouvier-Volume says it will be accepting pledges and donations.

“We’re raising money for a CT scanner, our injector lift and a little more equipment,” he explains.

The money raised supports Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane,Anson General in Iroquois Falls and Bingham Memorial in Matheson.

Pledges and outright donations will be accepted.  And  Bouvier-Volume says you’ll hear about where the money goes.

“We have a couple MICs workers that will come on air with Tim and we should be explaining a lot of the equipment and how it’ll be used.”

The fundraising target is to beat last year’s total of $31,000.
