The latest promotion with Tim Hortons Smile cookies is coming up in a couple weeks. This time in Cochrane, says Community Living supervisor Tanya Beauchamp-Bernard, her group gets all the proceeds from cookie sales.
“The event starts April 29th to May 5th, “ she says, “and we are responsible for going and decorating the cookies, putting the smiles on the cookies, and we’re going to do delivery service.”
Community Living clients will participate in decoration and delivery. If you want some cookies delivered, check with Tim Hortons or Community Living.
Beauchamp-Bernard says the money raised will go to supporting activities and needs of Community Living clients.
“It’s not to go to staffing and things like that. It’s for individual-based things – extra activities, extra accessibility things.”
