Getting the Ring of Fire producing Graphite and providing jobs sooner than later is a priority for the NDP’s Charlie Angus.
Angus says it will take industry partners, the province and First Nations at the table to get the Ring of Fire up and running.
Angus is running against Green Party candidate Max Kennedy, the Conservative’s John Curley and the Liberal’s Todd Lever.
He says communities around the Ring of Fire have to be addressed first before moving the project forward.
The election is set for October 19th.
