MICS opens COVID-19 assessment centres in Cochrane, Iroquois Falls

COVID-19 assessment centres are coming to Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.

MICS health care group CEO Paul Chatelain says the first one opens tomorrow (Wed., April 1) in Cochrane.

“We’re going to open up at the Boy Scouts Hall which is on 438 Eleventh Avenue,” he explains. “It will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays.”

And in Iroquois Falls, it is at Anson General Hospital, as of Thursday.

“The actual hospital itself, in the telemedicine room, right next to our physiotherapy department,” says Chatelain, “and that is scheduled to be open on Tuesday and Thursday for four hours.”

These are not walk-in clinics.  You must be referred by the Porcupine Health Unit.
