Ladles of Love is one of our free community programs through the Cochrane Food Bank. It is really about bringing people together over a warm meal and making sure everyone in our community has a place where they feel welcome.

Once a month, we serve a homemade soup, a bun and dessert completely free of charge. There is no registration required, and you do not have to be a food bank client. It is open to everyone. Maybe you are struggling financially, maybe you are a senior looking for a little company, or maybe you simply want to sit down and share a meal with other people in the community. You are welcome.

Our next Ladles of Love is Thursday, October 22 from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Legion at 151 6th Avenue in Cochrane.

At the end of the day, Ladles of Love is about more than a bowl of soup. It is about food, conversation, connection and making sure people know that there is a community around them.
