With the deadline to register to run for town council in October coming up on Friday, two more candidates have filed their papers in Cochrane.
They’re both incumbent councillors, although Susan Nelson is after the mayor’s job, while Dan Brunet wants to remain a councillor.
Nelson’s candidacy means there will be a contest to be mayor. Councillor Sylvie Charron-Lemieux also wants to move to the head of the table.
