Cochrane now has more than enough candidates for the six council seats up for grabs at the end of October.
The addition of Tamara Shortt and Lyne Jirovec-Nolet’s names brings the number to seven. Still no sitting members have indicated their interest publicly.
There’s also only one candidate for the mayor’s chair: current councillor Sylvie Charron-Lemieux.
The nomination period ends on August. 21st.
