Iroquois Falls Ringette Association’s first-ever day camp is coming up

In advance of the new season, the Iroquois Falls Ringette Association is holding its first ever day camp.

President Candis Blakeley says it’s on Sunday, September 14th between 10:00am and 6:00pm

“We’ve had camps in the past that were hosted by players from Team Canada,” she notes, but this one is more locally led.”

It’s being led by student volunteers and parents.

Blakeley says it’s a good opportunity to try the sport.  All you really need is your own skates. The association has some equipment to fit you with.

“We’re a little limited, but at the same time, we have enough to get someone going to try it out.”

More details on the camp are available on the association’s website and Facebook page.
