PATRICK BROWN ACCUSED OF FLIP-FLOPPING ON HEALTHCARE

PC leader Patrick Brown says healthcare specialists are leaving Northern Ontario because of inadequate funding from the Wynne Liberals.   Brown says the Liberals have degraded healthcare so much in places like Thunder Bay that wait lists are now the norm in the north.   Health minister Doctor Eric Hoskins deflected the criticism by accusing Brown of flip-flopping on doctors’ contracts.          Hoskins claims over the summer Brown told physicians he opposes binding arbitration to settle their contract dispute with the province.   But Hoskins says only a few weeks later, the media quote Brown as supporting binding arbitration which puts him onside with the Liberals.
