(NBA) The Toronto Raptors ran to 100-78 win over the Dallas Mavericks last night. DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points to lead the Raptors.
(NHL) The Calgary Flames won with their 10th straight game, beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in overtime. In other action Boston doubled Vancouver 6-3, and Nashville edged Winnipeg 5-4 in overtime.
(MLB) The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 4-3 in Grapefruit League action yesterday. Injured Blue Jays Josh Donaldson and Devon Travis will see their first game action of the spring today in a minor league game at the Philadelphia Phillies complex. Donaldson is recovering from a strained right calf while Travis is recovering from a bone bruise on his knee.
(Tennis) Vasek Pospisil was elimnated out of the singles draw at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells yesterday by Serbian qualifier Dusan Lajovic (lie-oh-vitch), Pospisil won $41,350 and he’ll collect 45 Tour points.
