Last night in the NHL the Detroit Red Wings shut out the Montreal Canadiens 1-0,Edmonton beat Arizona 3-1and San Jose skated to a 5-2 win over Winnipeg.
Canada’s Milos Raonic beat Germany’s Dustin Brown in straight sets yesterday at the Australian Open. On the Women’s side Eugenie Bouchard is also moving on to the second round after a straight set win over American Louisa Chirico.
