The Christmas Train is coming to town this year. Ontario Northland is decorating one of their freight trains and it will be traveling to communities across Northern Ontario. This includes stops in Kapuskasing, Cochrane and Hearst. Two weeks from today the train will be stopping at the Special Events Centre in Kapuskasing, the following day travelling to Hearst and then moving on to Cochrane and communities along the James Bay Coast. Cochrane also lit the Community Christmas Tree last night, following the Santa Parade, as dozens of families looked on and fireworks exploded overhead.
