The Town of Cochrane is changing their garbage pickup schedule. Instead of collecting trash every week like they do now, the town has decided to only pick up garbage every other week. Municipal Director of Operations and Infrastructure for the Town of Cochrane, Shane Skinner says they opted to make the change in order to save costs during the winter months. Â The changes will come into effect starting October 31st and everything will go back to normal in April. Â Skinner says residents should be aware that the truck might come by to pick up your garbage at a different time than usual.
