GILLES BISSON TAKING MEDICAL LEAVE

Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson has announced he is taking a medical leave of absence. Bisson made the announcement on his Facebook page over the weekend. Bisson had an angioplasty last week, and has developed an infection in the area of the incision. He went into surgery yesterday to clean out the infection, and fix an artery in his leg at the incision site. Bisson says his absence will be from six to eight weeks, and will not be able to work. However, his office and staff will remain open over his absence.
