Take Back the Night is an international event that looks to end violence against women. The Domestic Violence Co-Ordinator for Cochrane North, Chantal Ouellette, says they don’t take donations at the event but instead are just looking to raise community awareness. To change things up a bit, last year instead of holding a march they decided to have a glow in the dark marathon. Ouellette says that across the country the event is usually held on the same night so that everyone is walking together.
