OPP officers from the James Bay detachment would like to remind members of the public that there is a provincial wide curfew. Anyone who is under the age of 16 cannot be outside between midnight and 6:00am unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Staff Seargent Baldassare Nuccio with the James Bay detachment says the curfew is not just in effect for Northeastern Ontario.  Nuccio also says the curfew is in place for the protection the children in our community.  OPP officers have the right to stop anyone outside in the middle of the night.
