The Cochrane Summerfest gets underway today. The event will be going all weekend long andĀ features live entertainment with an all day music line-up right on the lake. There’sĀ somethingĀ for everyone in the family with mud bogs, rock climbing, water tube slides and the smoke onĀ the water BBQ competition to list a few events. All day passes are $15 for adults, anyone 18 andĀ under gets in for $5 and children under 2 get in for free. All of the proceeds raised during theĀ summerfest are being reinvested back into community recreation.Ā The festival is currentlyĀ looking for volunteers.
