The Union of Ontario Indians has a new chief operating officer. He’s Gary Dokis (DOH-kees) of the Dokis First Nation. Dokis takes over the running of the union’s affairs as of today. Dokis has extensive experience among First Nation organizations including serving as the executive director of the Chiefs of Ontario.
