Expansion of Cochrane’s Cadence Residence senior living facility is officially underway. It will almost double in size, adding 28 units to its current 31.
Provincial seniors minister Raymond Cho was in on Monday’s official observance. He said he asked Cadence facility manager Tina Turner an important question.
“Tell me, the seniors here, are they happy and are they healthy? And Tina said definitely, they’re all happy and healthy,” he told the gathering.
Cho applauded the project.
“When we develop a good community for seniors, we are building a good community for everyone,” he remarked. “Anyone, everyone who lives long, eventually they all become seniors.”
The first 31 units at Cadence were built in 2015.
