A recount by hand starts next Monday for the Mushkegowuk-James Bay Riding following the recent provincial election. New Democrat Incumbent Guy Bourgouin defeated Conservative and Kapuskasing Mayor Dave Plourde by just eight votes.
The recount includes scrutineers from both candidates as well as a judge. It’s unknown how long it will take.
