The investigation continues into a head-on accident near Driftwood on Wednesday night that sent one driver to hospital.
OPP, the Cochrane Fire Department and the Cochrane District Ambulance responded to the crash involving a transport and a passenger vehicle near the rail crossing on Highway 11. The driver of the passenger vehicle had to be extracted before being taken to hospital. The highway was closed for two hours, but didn’t fully reopen until around midnight.
