An event planned for the Tim Horton Event Centre the evening of Monday, November 18th has two purposes.
Town of Cochrane economic development officer Devon Prevost says the first is “Discover Cochrane”. It’s a chance for newcomers and longtime residents to connect with not-for-profit and service clubs.
“These groups will be showcasing the important work they do and the services they offer to support our community,” Prevost states. “And the second component is Strategic Plan Open House, where you can learn more about Cochrane’s recently developed strategic plan.”
Prevost adds that the six key pillars of the plan are healthcare, diversity, communication and engagement, infrastructure, way of life, and economic development.
“It’s also a chance for you to engage directly with local representatives of council and staff, ask questions and share your thoughts on these crucial areas that will help guide the future of Cochrane.”
Admission is free. Your group can also have a booth for Discover Cochrane at no charge.
