Reward offered in disappearance case

A $50,000 reward is being offered, as OPP and Nishnawbe Aski Police continue to investigate the disappearance of a man from Constance Lake more than seven months ago.

Dean Mattinas Jr., 27, hasn’t been seen since about 9:30am Monday, March 18th.  He was walking west along Highway 11, about six kilometres west of Constance Lake.

You can call in any information you have to police or Crime Stoppers.  If it results in locating Mattinas, you could get the $50,000  reward and $2,000  from Crime Stoppers.

DEAN MATTINAS JR. DESCRIPTION:

  • 27 years old
  • male, 5′ 10″ (178 cm) tall with an athletic build
  • black hair, brown eyes, a thin moustache and slight sideburns.
  • last seen wearing a camouflage or beige jacket, blue jeans, brown boots and possibly had a black Under Armour brand tote bag and/or brown backpack.
