An argument on the trail around Lake Commando in Cochrane adds up to nine charges against two people.
OPP say that on Monday afternoon, a caller told them that a man on the trail brandished a handgun during the “verbal altercation”.
A 28-year-old Scarborough man was later arrested at a home on Eleventh Ave. He has been charged with five weapons offences, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. He’s in jail at least until a court appearance on Friday.
A 21-year-old woman from Cochrane is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. She was released and goes to court next month.
