Power will be off across a fairly wide portion of Cochrane this coming Sunday, July 21st.
Northern Ontario Wires says there will be no electricity between seven and noon in an area that includes the hospital and three churches. It’s to allow for maintenance on the distribution system.
AFFECTED AREA
- All of 8th, 10th and 11th St., including Cadence Residence
- All of 11th Ave./Chalmers Ave. going north to Concession 2 & 3
- East side of 10th Ave. including all streets east up to and including Génier Rd.
- Lady Minto Hospital, Beach House, New Hope Community Church, Cochrane Gospel Chapel, Christian Reformed Church, Polar Bear Market and Cookhouse, Formula 21, Pro’s Mini Mart, Tim Horton Events Centre, Rockshield, Rockshield/Greenfirst Scale.
