The Ontario Provincial Police are continuing their investigation into a fire that completely destroyed a home and garage in Fournier Township west of Cochrane.
An officer discovered the blaze while on patrol yesterday morning around 4 am. The home and detached garaged were engulfed in flames and eventually collapsed.
The cause and the origin of the fire are still unknown and under investigation from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office.
