The Ottawa Senators won 4-3 in overtime against Chicago in the NHL last night. The Sens were the only Canadian team to win their games. Elsewhere, Washington edged Montreal 3-2, Toronto was shut-out 1-0 by Minnesota and Dallas doubled Vancouver 4-2.
In the NFL Thursday Nighter, the Green Bay Packers came from behind to beat Detroit 27-23. The Packers connected with a 61-yard touchdown pass with no time left on the clock for the win.
The Toronto Raptors lost 106-105 to Denver in the NBA.
In curling at the Canada Cup, there`s a three-way tie for first in the men`s division. Sitting at 3-1 are Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, Pat Simmons from Edmonton and Calgary`s Kevin Koe. For the women, Rachel Homan of Ottawa sits alone in first with a perfect 4-0 record.
The Cochrane Crunch are playing the Soo Eagles tonight at the Tim Horton Event Centre, while the Iroquois Falls Eskis take on Timmins at the Jus Jordan Arena. Both games 7:30pm.
