Here are five words that members of the Cochrane Curling Club have been eagerly anticipating: “We finally have a season now.”
Club president Kory Blackburn says it wasn’t coronavirus that delayed the start, which is now the week of January 4th. “Before, one of our compressors was not functioning properly. How everything’s all good.”
The curling club has activities for everyone from the Little Rockers to seniors, including a Thursday night mixed league.
“There is some teams signed up,” Blackburn adds, but we’re still open for sign-ups.”
