Summer may be ending but the Cochrane Farmers Market is not.
Organizers say the weekly Friday and Saturday markets at the pavilion that feature local music, food and vendors will stay open throughout the fall season. Market Secretary and Treasurer Kathy Genier says the weekly events will keep running through until Thanksgiving Weekend.
Genier says once the farmers market dies down, the organizing committee is looking to plan a Christmas Fair that will take place in November. She says that will feature a lot of the same vendors at the farmers market, plus a few more Christmas specific booths. More details on that will be released closure to November.
