A national scavenger hunt is cleaning up the community.
One of the Timmins Greatest International Scavenger Hunt teams will be doing a community clean up this weekend as part of the challenges. Resident Karen Hutchison says she is organizing a big community clean up at Gillies Lake.
Hutchison says the more people that come out, the better for the community and her challenge points. She says everyone is invited to help keep one of the community’s most used parks nice and clean.
The clean up will take place on Saturday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt happens every year during the first week of August. Teams from around the world compete to give their communities international exposure, as well as help local organizations.
