A heat wave is expected to stick around throughout the week.
Environment Canada says the 30 degree weather will continue for most of the week, with things cooling down to the low 20’s overnight. The weather agency says a cold front is expected to come through and cools things off a little on Friday night.
It says this hot weather does affect everyone. Environment Canada recommends that you drink lots of water and get out of the heat when you can. It adds you should never leave your pets in a vehicle.
