(NHL) The Tampa Bay Lightning needed the shootout for a 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. Elsewhere Philadelphia blanked Montreal 1-0 in a shootout and Colorado beat Vancouver 3-1.
(NBA) The Toronto Raptors crushed the Detroit Pistons 123-94 at the ACC last night. With the win the Raptors maintained a half-game lead on the Boston Celtics for first in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
(MLB) In Grapefruit League action yesterday Tampa beat the Blue Jays 7-4.
