(Golf)  There is a three-way tie atop the leader board following the first round of the 146th British Open as American’s Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka and Matt Kuchar all sit at 5-under. Austin Connelly was the top Canadian sitting just two strokes back of the leaders with an opening round of 3 under.

(MLS)  Canada’s run at the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup has come to an end. The Canadian men’s soccer team lost a 2-1 decision against Jamaica in the tournament quarter-finals yesterday.
