The Cochrane Public Library is a welcoming place for all ages, but their summer reading program is aimed specifically at kids. Mary-Ann Parsley, acting program coordinator for the library, says if kids don’t keep reading over the summer, they stand a good chance of losing a portion of their literacy. The summer reading program is on now through August 18th and, like all library programs, is free to the public.
