The town’s accessibility committee has been recognized for its efforts along with a Deacon from Cochrane.

Kapuskasing’s Accessibility Advisory Committee was recognized by the North East Association for Community Living for promoting accessibility throughout facilities in town.

Meanwhile, Former Cochrane Deacon Richard Moore was also recognized with the same award for his efforts within the community.
