The PC’s are attacking the Wynne Liberals after the Financial Accountability Officer showed the government plan to cut hydro by 25 percent will cost an additional 21-billion dollars in the years ahead.
Tory leader Patrick Brown says the Premier has to admit that her Fair Hydro Plan will, in fact, cost Ontarians a lot more money.
The Tories claim that by 2028 annual hydro rates will jump 12 percent a year.
They also say the Liberals plan to bring back the debt retirement charge.
The PC’s say the Hydro plan is all about the Liberals trying to get themselves re-elected next year by lowering rates in the short term.
