The Northern Ontario Party has released its platform and it starts with separating from Southern Ontario.
The party has 37 points it plans to fight the June 2018 election on and separation heads the list.
Several points deal with electricity including having one price for hydro no matter the time of day and removing delivery charges on residential rates.
The NOP also wants to see seniors housing made from old hospitals and provincial buildings that are no longer used.

The party also says long-term care facilities should have a doctor or nurse practitioner on site which helps free up hospital space.
