(NBA)  The Toronto Raptors season came to an end yesterday after they lost 109-102 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs swept the Raptors 4 games to none.  Meanwhile Washington tied their series with Boston at 2 games apiece after a 121-102 win over the Celtics and Houston beat San Antonio 125-104 to tie that series at 2 games apiece.

(MLB)  Joe Biagini and four relievers combined on a three-hitter, and Darwin Barney hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Tampa Bay Rays 2-1 yesterday. The Jays won two of three from Tampa  to win a road series for the first time this season

(NHL)  The Edmonton Oilers crushed the Anaheim Ducks 7-1 last night to force a Game 7 in their series. In other action the Nashville Predators eliminated the St Louis Blues with a 3-1 victory and a 4-2 series win.
